Highlighted Features

LED flashing turn indicators as standard with optional Cruising Light: Increase visibility thanks to their strong luminosity. The Cruising Light keeps the front indicators constantly dimmed and ensures a striking appearance, especially at night and in poor visibility. (European model shown).

Ride Modes Pro and ECO Modes: Fun at the touch of a button: The Ride Modes Pro are adapted to different riding styles and give you even more control over your bike with features such as the new dynamic engine brake control. The new ECO Mode in series gets the most out of every full fuel tank.

DTC and ABS Pro in series: Enable precise handling in every riding situation: ABS Pro stabilizes the bike when braking in a heel angle. DTC prevents the rear wheel from spinning on surfaces with little grip.

Connectivity with TFT display and USB remote positive terminal: The TFT display connects your smartphone and bike together and, together with the BMW Connected App, enables you to find your route, listen to music and make phone calls while on the move. Thanks to the new USB socket, your smartphone never runs out of power when you’re on the road.

The right mode for every adventure: Tarmacked roads, wet roads or unpaved gravel roads: The seven riding modes of the R 1250 GS ensure optimum grip and superior handling at all times. When the vehicle is stationary, you can pre-select up to four riding modes individually in the menu, which you can then select quickly and conveniently during the journey using the riding mode button. The new dynamic engine brake control provides more stability and easy control of the bike in the Pro riding modes; it prevents the rear wheel from slipping or jerking. And in the new standard ECO Mode, you get the maximum range from every tank of fuel.

See and be seen: The perfect illumination for every curve: The adaptive headlights switch on automatically when the vehicle is tilted, providing optimum illumination of bends depending on gradient and payload – a significant plus in terms of safety and comfort. The multifunctional rear LED flashing turn indicators ensure an eye-catching appearance and even greater visibility.

Performance, efficiency, control: The boxer engine of the R 1250 GS fascinates from the very first glance. You can feel its character in every engine speed range, because it offers you impressive performance with more smoothness at low rotational speeds. The variable BMW ShiftCam variable camshaft control ensures more powerful torque development over the entire engine speed range, providing greater control in every riding situation. This means: More displacement and more performance with higher efficiency and therefore power whenever you need it. The strong pull with fewer gear changes gives you more freedom. This way you feel the boxer’s energy even more directly.

40 YEARS OF GS bike show and FARKLE FEST.

Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 9 AM – 3 PM

During our demo day we will be celebrating the GS. We invite you to bring out your GS/GSA and show it off. We will have hand made trophies for each class. Most miles on a gs/gsa, most farkles, farthest distance to arrive and dirtiest gs/gsa. If you don’t know what farkles are you need some! We will have the BMW demo truck set up if you would like to ride anything in their line up. Food at 11:30 registration for the show opens at 9 AM trophies awarded at 1pm.

40 Years of GS RIDE.

Sunday, September 27, 2020 at 9 AM – 1 PM

Join us for a beginner friendly 40 Years of GS RIDE. It will be on dirt road/back roads leaving from Hermy’s at 9:20 AM and arriving back at Hermy’s around 1 PM. This ride can be completed without knobby tires depending on your abilities. But if you have them it will make it easier for you. Make sure to bring water and a snack. All makes and models welcome!
